Time for this month's Beauty Box 5 reveal!  For those who aren't familiar with Beauty Box 5 it is a fun monthly subscription that delivers five hand picked beauty products right to your door.  Its choice subscriptions include: $12.00/month, $30.00/quarterly or $99.00/ yr. As a part of the official BeautyBox 5 review team I receive each box complimentary in exchange for my review.  This is my third review and so far I've been nicely impressed with most of its contents.

This month's theme is a hearty celebration of the new year and a "Cheers to You!".

There were some really useful goodies this time around like the 1 fl oz. tube of H2O Plus' Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash H2O Plus happens to be one of my favorite brands and I was happy to try this out.  It has a gel consistency that lathers right up!  Its made with mineral- rich alga extract, vitamin E, water lotus and bamboo extracts which help maintain your skin's moisture balance and stimulate skin renewal.  It has refreshing, ocean-like fragrance that is a great stimulant in your morning shower.

Nubar Cuticle and Nail Oil was awesome surprise.  At first glance I assumed it was a base coat, but when I looked closer I realized it was cuticle oil. It is formaldehyde, phthalate and toluene free and is grapefruit scented making it smell completely delicious.  I've tried Sally Hansen's in the past and never really had much luck, but perhaps this one will do the trick!  After a few applications thus far, I have noticed my cuticles have softened a bit.

I've never heard of Epic Blend before now, but I'm already a fan of their Hemp Coconut Lip Balm.  After just a few applications its been a life saver.  My lips have been so dry lately and started to crack this past week, but this felt so soothing.  Its already restored moisture back into them.  Its consistency is lightweight but coats your lips well.  Plus, its gluten and petroleum free, non GMO and not tested on animals :)

Another must have product that has set up camp in my desk drawer at work is Jergens Daily Moisture Dry Skin Moisturizer.  Another great smelling product and what I like most about it is that it absorbs super fast.  I wash my hands often throughout the day (which we all know is rough on our skin) and this is great to have on hand to help keep them from frying out.  There's no greasy after feeling and its scent is pleasant and sweet.

Swissco Bath and Shower Exfoliating Gloves are something I wondering how much use I'll get out of.  Described as ideal for those who love a good spray tan, they're perfect for exfoliating.  (I don't tan much in general let alone the winter but who's to say I shouldn't start?)  If nothing else, they can be a nice supplement for when my body polishes or scrubs run out and I need an alternative exfoliator.

The last item was a nod to the upcoming movie to be released January 31st, That Awkward Moment. The cute compact mirror will slip right in your purse for those lip gloss or mascara smudge emergencies!
