Review: Glam-It! GlamPact

You're getting off the subway, you're rushing upstairs, and suddenly you hear what can only be described as the sound of your favorite compact hitting the steps.  If you're lucky enough to make an attempt at snatching it up, you know the likely hood of it surviving the heard of cattle trampling past you, is pretty slim. 

  It was with this exact scenario in mind that glamour girl Jennifer Cheng took it upon herself to spare us from those inevitable mishaps.  Founder of the beauty industry's highly talked about Glam-It! company, Jennifer combined convenience, functionality, beauty and sophistication into the latest must have item; the GlamPact . 

I can't say enough wonderful things about this compact because I was consistently impressed with it.  It's been a while since I've come across a product that not only seems to have everything, but actually has everything.   This lightweight compact includes:

• Anti-Aging and Moisturizing Superfection Pressed CC Powder, SPF 30 PA+++ in light and medium shades with a double sided cosmetic sponge. 
• Anti-Aging Cheek Colors Trio: Cheeky for blush, Shady for bronzing, and Hi-Liter for highlighting.
• 3 Anti- Aging Eye Colors: Noir, Caramel-eyes, and Naked
• Moisturizing and Plumping Lip Colors: Eat Me, Kiss Me Stupid and Gloss Over
• Tool Drawer includes: Lip brush, cheek fan brush, eyebrow brush, and  dual-sided eyeshadow/ eyeliner brush

There are so many incredible elements about this compact, where do I start??  It contains everything you could need from CC powder, to lip glosses, the necessary applicators and even a light up mirror- which you can easily charge up with its USB cord!  I loved the shadows and glosses in particular.  They had beautiful blending qualities, were highly pigmented and had amazing colour payoff.  Each item also contains additional skincare benefits.  For example, they use ingredients like matrixyl and hyaluronic acid to stimulate collagen and smooth wrinkles, as well as moisturizers like argan oil and mango butter which are rich with antioxidants.   The glosses had smooth, even coverage, and contained Instaplump and MAXI-LIP for lip plumping effects. 

Another aspect that I absolutely loved was that you can purchase refills for it off the company's website.  Each item pops out and can be replaced with either a refill or another color from the company's website. It retails for $100.00 and is an investment worth every penny.  Its available in pink for us girly girls and black for those who want ultra chic.  I'd highly recommend this to any girl who's tired of clumsily fumbling around her purse and is ready for her first glam-over!
