Review: Nicole Scherzinger imPress Press On- Manicure by Broadway Nails

This post is somewhat impromptu simply because I am aware the Nicole Scherzinger imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails have been in stores for a while now.  But while on the train today, I was complimented on my fabulous mani.  When the hip looking girl next to me turned and inquired about their designer, I proudly dished about how they were in fact the Nicole Scherzinger press- ons.  I had a brief conversation with her in which she was surprised to learn they were not my real nails.  It got me thinking that since this was my second successful time using them, I should share a post reminding my fellow beauties of these great little treasures!

By My Side

The set I have been wearing the past six days is called By My Side (and holding strong towards day seven).  Part of her signature series, it is a flirty, brightly colored print for summer.  I love these nails because they fit snugly in the cuticles, they don't slide around, and you can even file them to change the shape of fit.  So far they have decent durability, but since the polish on them is real, their edges have chipped just ever so slightly.

As for application, it took me less then 10 minutes.  I simply sized each nail, then placed out on the table.  Each set comes with a prep pad, which I used to cleanse each nail, thoroughly.  Next, I removed the plastic backing of each fake nail, placed it to my natural nail and held it firmly in place for 15 seconds.  Personally, I feel this is where most people go wrong  (if it turns out they don't have as much luck with these nails).  The adhesive sets within the first few seconds and continues to set for the next several minutes.  Therefore, its best to have pressed them firmly in place when first applied.

Retail: $8.99

I love these nails because they're quick, they're easy, and totally trendy.  I know the line now includes press-on pedicures, which I have yet to try.  But if they're anything like the manis, they're certainly worth a try!

Review: L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Color Vibrancy Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner

If you haven't realized by now, L'Oreal Paris  is probably my all time favorite drugstore brand, mainly because it never disappoints me.  So whenever I come across another L'Oreal gem, it is an absolute must that I share the experience with my fellow beauty mavens :)

You may recall my recent trip to the salon where I had my hair colored for the first time in a few years.  That being said, I began my quest for the perfect color preserving shampoo and conditioner to keep my newly transformed locks looking  ... enter the brand new L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Color Vibrancy Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner .

I've been working with the duo for a little over two weeks now and can say my colour looks just as fabulous now as it did before.  They advertise up to 8 weeks of colour vibrancy and so far, I'm very pleased.  The colour has remained locked in and my hair still appears bright and shiny.  The duo contains anti-oxidant & UV filters to protect hair and preserve color, as well as arginine- K Complex to nourish hair from root to tip.  My hair is usually on the dry side, but this pair leaves it feeling silky smooth and ultra soft.  Aside from keeping hair from fading or dulling, their scent is DELICIOUS! I can't quite put my finger on it, but it is a fruity, raspberry-like scent that is just heavenly.  The shampoo lathers very well, and the conditioner is rich and creamy.  I'd recommend them as the ultimate, must have pair for colour treated hair this season; also totally affordable and great availability.

Retail: $4.99 each
Available at: drugstores, food and mass markets and lorealparisusa.com

Have you colored your hair recently?  Are you interested in giving this duo a try?

Review: Scünci No-Slip Grip Clips

Retail: $2.99- $4.99

I'm a huge fan of a trendy claw clip, and Scünci has created a brand new collection that will grab you by the pony tail!  Scunci's No-Slip Grip Clips have a clever new technology inside them that actually keeps the clip from playing slip and slide throughout your luscious locks.  On the inside of each clip is two strips of soft, gel like rubber with small teeth that help keep hair inside the clip, rather then falling out.

I found the clips incredibly comfortable and stylish.  The rubber didn't snag or tug at my hair like I thought it might.  The clips stayed firmly in place and held their position nicely throughout the day without me needing to fix them.  I was also pleasantly surprised at their strength.  I used the medium size clip to hold my super thick, curly locks, and it didn't budge once.  They range in sizes from small, medium and large and include an array of trendy designs like flirty glitter, to textured metal, and solid neutrals.  These are perfect to have on hand when heading to the beach, working out at the gym, or even for those lazy summer nights when you just want to toss your tresses up into a casual do' and lounge around!

Have you started stocking up on your summer must haves?  Do you have Scünci No-Slip Grip Clips on your list yet?!

Good news all! Now is your chance to give them a test run :D Enter the below giveaway to win a set of your own Scunci No Slip Grip Clips to add to your collection of summer accessory must haves.  Giveaway runs from June 12, 2013- June 26, 2013 and is open to all U.S. residents.  Good luck beauties!! Review: New Aubrey Organics

I recently had the pleasure of attending the launch of both some brand new and some improved products from Aubrey Organics.  This incredible line was the first truly natural skincare company of its kind and has developed an extensive new collection of 100% natural skincare products.  The line caters to the needs of all skin types and does it at an affordable cost.

This line so unique because each product is hand made by its workers- not machines- as orders come in, and then shipped out to consumers.  Consumers receive fresh products that contain no petro chemicals, no harmful additives and are NOT tested on animals.  Aubrey Organics believes in the power of nature elements and our strong connection to them.  "...Through... everything we create, we proudly stay true to these ideals.  What we make and how we make it is all about caring for people, respecting the land and it inhabitants, and preserving nature for future generations"- Curt Valva, Aubrey President & CEO.

Two of my favorites products were from the brand new Everyday Basics  Collection:

Everyday Basics Cleansing Gel
Retail: $8.95

I loved this cleanser because its gel formula was so light and lathered so well.  One pump was all I needed to wash my entire face and even down my neck.  Made with eucalyptus, camphor and organic menthol oils, it had a soothing mint aroma that left my skin with a cool, refreshed feeling.  I was pleased to see it removed all my make up; including my eye make up without burning and leaving dark mascara rings underneath.  My skin always felt clean after use and I never experienced any irritation.  This is a great cleanser for budget conscious beauties because I felt it worked just as well as many of the high end, pricey cleansers I've tried in the past.  The clean feeling lasted throughout the day and made me feel as if it continued working.

Everyday Basics Daily Skin Moisturizer
Retal: $9.95

As directed, I followed with the Everyday Basics Daily Skin Moisturizer.  Made with with hazel to normalize skin tone and aloe vera to hydrate and soothe, this was totally made for me.  It was a unique experience for me as I can't recall using many moisturizers with its light, whipped texture, but I immediately liked it.  It instantly absorbed into my skin and disappeared quickly.  There was no sheen or greasy after effect that some moisturizers leave behind.  I noticed an increase in hydration and reduction in dryness around my nose (which has proved to be a sensitive area).

Sparkling Glacier Complexion Mist with Fragonia
Retail: $7.98

Lastly, I fell in love with the Sparkling Mineral Water Complexion Mist with Fragonia .  This is a total MUST HAVE for your purse this summer.  It contains sparkling mineral water for mineral rich hydration, and glacier water liposome for clinically prove eight hour hydration.  I can't get enough of its  crisp, soothing scent and how it give me that instant pick me up in the middle of the day.  Just a few quick spritzes and it wakes you up with a cool, freshness on your skin, and soothing scent to set you back at ease.  It will be great come summer when you're waiting on those killer long lines at the amusement park, or when you're out dancing all night with the girls and need to revive your skin.  It keeps skin glowing and hydrated, and works for all skin types.

Brownberry New York: Clear Sunless Tanning Spray

I was recently introduced to a new tanning system called Brownberry New York.  Since I have not had the opportunity to try it, I can't speak on its results or give a first hand experience, but from what I've learned, it sounds pretty amazing.  That said, I just wanted to share the below info with my lovelies in case any of you have/or had the chance to give it a try :)

Brownberry New York, what originally began as Manhattan’s first mobile spray tan service, has recently launched its Clear Sunless Tanning Spray, the debut product in the company’s new retail line.

The only sunless tanning spray on the market enriched with super-nutrient Vitamin D3, the Clear Sunless Tanning Spray is dermatologist-tested, paraben and oil-free, and can be used on both the face and body. The unique formula is supercharged with powerful antioxidants that help smooth and soften skin and conceal minor skin imperfections, while delivering a healthy, sun-kissed glow without the harmful effects of UV rays and sun damage.

The foolproof application features a 360-degree continuous spray actuator, allowing the light, rub-free mist to be evenly applied upside-down, ideal for hitting those hard-to-reach areas that can often result in splotchy, uneven application.

The Clear Sunless Tanning Spray is $45 and available online at Brownberrynyc.com.  Meant to be applied at night, the spray delivers a safe, naturally flawless glow that develops within hours for a “fresh-from-vacation” luminous look that lasts up to 8 days.

Originally founded in 2005 by Meredith Fish, Brownberry’s evolution from Manhattan’s first mobile spray tan service to luxury product line was fueled by what Fish discovered to be an overwhelming void in the marketplace: A healthy, user-friendly product that delivered a beautiful, natural glow without the risk of unsightly stains on clothing and furniture and splotchy application process.

About Brownberry Clear Sunless Tanning Spray:
Made of only the finest ingredients and dermatologist tested, Brownberry’s continuous spray formula combines a clear sunless tanner with Vitamin D3, a vital nutrient women lack universally from sunshine and natural food sources alone. Applied topically Vitamin D3’s antioxidant properties smooth and soften skin while also linked to treating skin conditions like Vitiligo and Psoriasis. The fresh green tea scented mist is lightweight and non-drying with superior even coverage, providing a safe, naturally flawless glow.

Have you tried Brownberry yet?  If so, what did you think? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Father's Day Gift Idea: Consider Frédéric Malle’s Rubber Incense Collection

Frédéric Malle’s newest additions to his initially limited edition Rubber Incense collection includes four new sensory pleasures for every mood: Russian Nights evokes a polar chill, Jurassic Flower reproduces the citrus-like waft of Magnolias, Rosa Rugosa transports you to wild rose bushes that grow against the wind of the Atlantic coast, and Marius & Jeannette infuses the minty freshness and anise side of Pastis.

These scented plastic slabs fit snugly into the corners of a closet, back of a dresser or car interiors and can make an awesome Father's day gift!  Just launched this month, they're available for $110.00 at Editions de Parfumes in NYC, Barneys New York, Barneys.com , shop.fredericmalle.com .

This is a fabulous way to trade the traditional bottle of cologne with something just as useful and fragrant.  For dads who genuinely appreciate a soothing aroma,  Frédéric Malle’s Rubber Incense could serve as a great investment and truly unique gift.

Do you think you will consider surprising dad with a unique rubber incense instead of the usual bottle of cologne?

Review: Alba Botanica Good & Clean Skincare Collection

With spring already here and summer nipping at our heels, I know we're all in the midst of revamping our skincare routines.  One I highly recommend checking out is Alba Botanica's brand new Good & Clean Skincare Collection.  This totally affordable line is powered by Fruit Acid Detox Fusion comprised of 10 alpha hydroxy-rich botanicals including grapefruit, apple, orange, lemon, grape, blackberry, sugar cane, strawberry, sugar maple and billberry.  These elements combined loosen and dissolve dead surface cells and release deep set toxins that can cause dullness, black heads and blemishes.

The collection includes: Toxin Release Scrub, Gentle Acne Wash, Dual Textured Exfoliating Towelettes, Pure Purifying Mini Peel, and Daily Detox Foaming Cleanser  and each contains at least 95% natural ingredients, are hypo allergenic and dermatologist tested.

Retail: $9.00

To start off, each and every one of these products smell DELICIOUS.  Since I'm not currently experiencing any breakouts, I began working with the Daily Detox Cleanser and liked it right off the bat. The combination of green tea and rice provides for pore purifying detoxification, not to mention an incredibly yummy scent!   The lightweight formula had a foam like, liquidy texture that lathered right up.  It removed all my makeup without any trouble and my skin felt so soft and soothed after.  I've been using it over a week and haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts.  Its is perfect for summer because its light, gentle and leaves my skin glowing.

Retail: $9.00

I have become very dedicated to various masks and peels over the past several months, and have decided this is one of my favorites.  The Pore Purifying Mini Peel is an oil free gel that works to eliminate dull surface cells, dissolve stubborn pollutants and release imbedded toxins.  I really loved it for many reasons.  I spread a moderate amount all over my face, and left it on for the full five minutes.  Even though it had a gel texture it wasn't sticky, it didn't weight heavy on my skin, and it never made my face feel tight or stiff.  An added bonus is its ability to act fast!  Its recommended usage is to leave on for a simple 1-5 minutes which means you can almost always have time for it.
When I rinsed it off,  my skin felt refreshed and clean.  My skin has developed a healthy brightness and I have noticed a slight decrease in the size of my pores.

Available this month at Target, Wal-Mart, Whole Foods Market and various drug stores.  With every item for $9.00 or less, how could you go wrong?

Have you switched up your skincare routine yet?  Do you think you will try Alba Botanica's Good & Clean Skincare Collection?

Review: Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss

Retail: $18.00

I'm totally going to let you in on a secret for this season... you need to snag yourself one of Elizabeth Arden's  Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Glosses.  Why? Because they're FABULOUS!! And don't you deserve all things fabulous??

The glosses are infused with mango and shea butter to condition and lock in moisture, along with Maxi-Lip™ to plump your pucker to the max.  I chose Sunset, a deep coral with a red and gold shimmer.  The formula had a thick consistency but felt very lightweight, non sticky and had pretty strong staying power.  Perfect wearability for summer because you won't have to worry about it melting off.

The pigmentation was rich and beautiful with an ultra high shine finish.  The specially contoured applicator brush soaks up the gloss and glides over lips, providing you with smooth, even coverage.  But I think what I liked most was the built in mirror on the side of the tube.  (Gotta appreciate convenience!)  I love this gloss and certainly plan to stock up.  It comes in a selection of 14 must have shades from  Rose Creme, a soft pink to Passion Fruit a sultry hot pink, to name a few.  You can check them out at elizabetharden.com .

Have you tried one of these glosses yet?  Do you have a favorite Elizabeth Arden product?

Hot for Summer: butter LONDON Summer Holiday Collection 2013

butter LONDON is turning up the heat with their sizzlin' new Summer Holiday Collection 2013.  At first glance it may not totally scream summer, but don't be fooled! The colours are cleverly designed to highlight our summer glow by creating a delicate contrast against our sun-kissed skin.
The colours range from sultry metallics in platinum, gold and rust, to crushed glitter rich shades of copper and umber. Drawing inspiration from cultural elements and gilded textures, the collection adds a unique spin to every summer look!

Colours include (L-R): Bit Faker, Sun Baker, Champers, Poole, Marbs and Bobby Dazzler.

Sun Baker: $15.00

I absolutely adore this colour.  It is a warm, rust orange shimmer that will look AMAZING with a tan. I have yet to see a colour like this one and felt it was one that you should grab while you can.  The coverage was smooth and even, and two coats was plenty. If you only pick one from the collection, I strongly suggest this one!

Champers: $15.00

I love rose gold and this is a really beautiful shade.  It is a little on the sheer side, even though it has very fine bits of glitter.  If you prefer a bolder look, I'd go for three coats.  Its a romantic shade that will look fabulous against golden skin tones.

Poole: $15.00

This is a creamy, blue- green shade.  Similar to a Robbin's egg blue but with a twist.  It is a playful, flirty shade that is the perfect finish for a pair of white shorts and breezy top.  Two coats covered evenly and didn't leave any streaks.

Purchase at: Ulta, Nordstrom and butterlondon.com

Have you tried any of the Summer Holiday Collection?  Which shade was your must have??

Review: Go Smile 6- Day Double Action Whitening System

I was pretty eager to sample Go Smile's 6- Day Double Action Teeth Whitening System.  My teeth aren't exactly the dazzling pearly whites I would like them to be, and this easy to use kit sounded absolutely perfect.  It requires two quick applications a day for up to six days and works on light to moderately stained teeth.

I've tried several whiteners in the past but have yet to find one that doesn't cause pain or sensitivity.   I am happy to report that the Go Smile kit was not only easy to use, but I did not feel an ounce of pain!  I was able to get through the entire six days without experiencing any sensitivity or discomfort.

The kit contains 12 ampoules; each contain whitening serum, power boosters and sensitivity protection, which dispense into an applicator.  The combined formulas work to begin whitening teeth almost immediately.  One liquid contains ingredients which release stain-removing oxygen ions, and the other accelerates the release of those ions, to speed up the whitening results. Once blended, the two individually encapsulated formulas work together to whiten better and faster than any single formula can.

To use: Simply pop each capsule while holding the applicator facing down and watch the liquid soak the applicator.  After brushing, sweep the applicator over teeth, up into the gum line and in between all crevices.  I can honestly say I did not experience any sensitivity or pain.  I applied cautiously the first day for fear of feeling any discomfort but never felt any.  By the second day, I started to notice results and actually a difference by the end of the six days.  The process is quick, easy and mess free.  The kit is also great for traveling and can be used on the go. It's a total must have to brighten your smile for all those photos during this summer's vay K!

Now even better news.... it's giveaway time!! One winner will receive their own Go Smile Double Action Whitening System kit.  Giveaway will run Saturday May 25,2013- Sunday June 9,2013.  Contest is open to all U.S. residents.  Good luck!

Kmart's Money Can't Buy Style Remix Challenge

I was so excited to attend Kmart's Money Can't Buy Style Remix Challenge featuring celebrity stylist and fashion extraordinaire George Kotsiopoulos.  Our challenge was to choose a Jaclyn Smith Utility Shirt in either teal, pink, denim or unique print, and then style a trendy outfit around it.  I totally fell for the denim blue shade and paired it with a bright pink blazer by Sophia Vergara, and a classic black skirt by Attention.  The utility shirt is a must have piece for this spring and upcoming summer.  It's light and airy for that casual, breezy look, but can also be easily be dressed up with a bright colored blazer or some fab accessories.

Check out the look I created while playing stylist for the evening and posing for my mini celeb style photo shoot with fashion photographer Chris Heads!

George Kotsiopoulos shared with us some of his top pick looks for the season and must have pieces!

Be sure to check out  Kmart Fashion and vote for your favorite remix look!  You can find all of these brands and more fabulous pieces like the above chic purses at Kmart this season.

New from MAKE: The Aether Collection

A few months back I was introduced to MAKE cosmetics and really fell in love with it.  Earlier this month the brand has launched their latest: The Aether Collection on weseebeauty.com.   Collaborating for the second time, London- based interior and furniture designer Faye Toogood and make- up artist Ayami Nishimura have created the Aether Collection, inspired by spirituality, rebalance and ceremony and designed to reflect eternal beauty.   It is the ultimate collection for giving you that fresh face look for spring, and that sun kissed, natural glow for this coming summer.  It includes a range of textures and tones to chose from including creamy warms and cold silvers, to icy whites and pearlescent glitters.

The collection:

 - Matte Eyeshadow ($18) in Sulfur, Warm White, Cool White, Salt Flat, Cement
Glitter Eyeshadow ($18) in Quartz, Alabaster
Glossing Powder ($22)
Face Gloss ($18)
Custom Finish Effects ($22) in Matte Dew
- Skin Illuminator ($28.50) in Skír
Luminous Lip Gloss ($18) in Flesh
Silk Cream Lipstick ($18) in Deep Flesh
- Aether Palette ($25) includes five Matte Eyeshadows, two Glitter Eyeshadows and a Silk Cream Lipstick

Skin Illuminator: $28.50

PR was kind enough to send me a few samples and I can say this collection was as impressive as the last.  The first item I tried was the MAKE Skin Illuminator in Skir.  It contains a blend of green tea and ginseng extracts which help give anti-oxidant protection while portulaca oleracea soothe and nourish your skin.  This is the perfect combination of light shimmer and spot coverage. Sometimes in the summer I opt to nix the foundation because I'm nervous of it melting off or running, but I still want something to cover and give that sun kissed effect.  This is a great alternative because you can apply it to select areas like blemishes, or use it as a highlighter to achieve that warm glow.  I applied it as a highlighter over my cheekbones, and on the area under my eyebrows before applying shadow.  The formula felt light and smooth on my skin, and lasted through the day.  Also convenient was its clever packaging.  In an easy to use click pen, it dispenses the perfect amount of liquid into the brush that you simply sweep over the area.  Impressive was the fact that it actually was the perfect amount (for me) as I  ended up only needing two clicks to to complete my look :)

Matte Finish Eyeshadow: Cement $18.00

Next I sampled MAKE Matte Eyeshadow in Cement, which was a light charcoal gray colour.  The beauty of these shadows is that they give a nod to soft, gentle beauty.  They provide long lasting, even coverage with out making one look overdone or made up.  They're lightweight and perfect for the upcoming warm month because they won't weight heavy on your skin or smudge off in the heat.  I found it easy to blend and it was a nice contrast against the shimmer of the skin illuminator.

As I've said in the past, I really love MAKE products and their overall collections.  And like always 33.3% of all MAKE purchases directly benefit the We See Beauty Foundation, a non- profit organization that funds women-led cooperatives in the U.S.

Have you checked out MAKE?  What's your favorite product from the Aether Collection?

    Review: Tilth Beauty

If you haven't already heard of it, it's time you were introduced to Tilth Beauty  .  Tilth Beauty is a phenomenal line of skincare products, whose name is derived from the life-giving properties of the earth itself.  Founder and CEO, Anthony Vargas has spent decades researching, and working in skincare industry.  He has created a line that contains potent blends of botanical and industry proven ingredients without any potentially harmful elements often found in other skincare products.  Tilth Beauty does not use parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petroleum based silicons, synthetic fragrances or GMO's, animal/dairy derived products of artificial colors.

I had the opportunity to work with two of their products:

    Retail: $38.00

First up was Gentle Poppy Seed Exfoliator:

I have sensitive skin that is often on the dry side, and I found this exfoliator to work really well. I used it once every other day or so, and its beads weren't hard or rough on my skin.  But what I liked best about it was its versatility. Since it comes in a powder form, you have the option of either just adding water, or mixing it to your current cleanser. I loved this aspect of it because I was able to continue using it, regardless of which cleanser I used.  This was great because if I needed to switch cleansers due to blemishes or better make up removal, I was able to do so easily and still exfoliate.  It always left my skin feeling smoother after use, and it never caused irritation or redness.

    Contents include:

Zea Mays (Yellow Corn) Kernel Meal ‐ Natural physical exfoliator, dense and coarse, from yellow corn.

Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Seed ‐ Natural physical exfoliator.

Papaver Somniferum (Poppy) Seed ‐ Natural physical exfoliator.

Jojoba EstersSmooth spheres which deliver jojoba emolliency and active ingredients directly to the skin.

    $62.00

    Next was the Flawless Serum:

This I applied after cleansing and loved the lightweight formula.  It absorbed incredibly fast and left my skin feeling soothed and refreshed.  I noticed my skin began to have a moist, dewy look after several uses (which was a first for me).  It also aims to help fight anti-aging and promote the appearance of firm skin.  (While I can't yet test it's anti aging results) I will say this: It certainly gave my skin a more supple, heathier appearance and I will continue to use it!

    Contents include:

Retinol (Encapsulated)Stable retinol to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and restore the look of UV damaged skin. Improves the appearance of skin elasticity by 20% and the appearance of wrinkles is diminished by up to 17% after 12 weeks.

Myrtle Leaf Extract (Hydrolyzed Myrtus Communis (Myrtle) Leaf Extract)Significantly reduces the appearance of the number of wrinkles and length of wrinkles, a genuine cell energizer and guardian of skin longevity, limits the degeneration of the skins appearance and reduces first signs of aging.

Adaptonyl® (Withania Somnifera (Indian Ginseng) Root Extract) – Known to energize cells, helps maintain the barrier function; Soothing, calming, antioxidant and collagen protector that allows maintaining the appearance of skin flexibility.

Have you heard Tilth Beauty?  Does it sound like a brand you might like to try?

butter LONDON Nail Lacquer was the must have accessory for Emmy Rossum and Giuliana Rancic as they hit the red carpet for the 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Katie Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador, worked with both of the ladies to create their nail looks for the evening, each which played up the nights theme of “Punk: Chaos to Couture.”

    Emmy Rossum

The Scoop: Inspired by her soft, billowing Donna Karan dress, Katie created elegant yet edgy nail art for Emmy using extra pieces of lacethe same fabric from which her dress was created – supplied by Donna Karan. The designer also supplied Emmy with individual crystals, also used on her dress, to help enhance her nail look, adding a bit of punk rocker edge.
    Get the Look:
    · Katie began by painting Emmy’s nails with two coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Yummy Mummy followed by a layer of butter LONDON P.D. Quick Top Coat.
    · She then cut individual pieces of lace to perfectly cover Emmy’s nails and placed them down on the wet nails, letting the lace dry on top of the nail.
    · Once the nails were dry, Katie placed glue on random spots of the nail where the crystals would be adhered, and then placed each crystal onto the nail.
“Emmy knew she really wanted to incorporate the fabric from the dress somehow, but with a twist that gave it an unexpected edge,” said Katie Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador. “Together we decided to use both the fabric and the stones to create a nail that was both delicate and edgy. It looked awesome.”
